Lens ™, was awarded the OLA's (Optical Laboratories
Association) "Best in Lens Material Award" and
the following year, "Best In Lens Design" for
RESOLUTION® lenses.
The Optical Laboratories Association
(OLA) is an international business association founded
in 1894 to serve the needs of the optical laboratory
industry. The Optical Laboratories Association (OLA)
is the only optical organization devoted exclusively
to the needs of optical laboratories. OLA represents
surfacing optical laboratories at all market levels.

Each
year, the OLA sponsors an Award of Excellence competition
and asks member labs to vote on the products that have
most positively impacted their businesses and bottom
line. Member labs, who use the products day in and
day out, vote basing their selection (for a lens product)
on the product's ease of use, its optics and the value
it has offered the members.
An OLA Award of Excellence is the
most prestigious award that the industry offers.
Winning these awards, in two consecutive years, highlights
the outstanding contribution to the laboratory community
and allied professions that Optima has made.
