Optical Performance is Not Limited
to Visual Acuity Alone, COLOR FREE AR —
The Invisible Lens™, Raises the Bar With Exceptional Wearability, Too!

One of the major complaints of AR lens wearers has been the ability to keep their lenses clean and smudge free. With RESOLUTION® Color FREE AR — the Invisible Lens™, Optima has addressed these issues by utilizing a remarkable, state-of-the-art, CFT process (Cryogenically Flash Treated). It is applied post hydrophobic oleophobic to give it a tighter molecular bond, making it more durable and repellent to exterior effects.

Patent-Pending Hydrophobic Coating Layer Creates an Ultra-Smooth Surface That Offers Impressive Performance

This proprietary patent-pending process fills in the microscopic hills and valleys that make up the hydrophobic coating layer to create an ultra-smooth surface with high surface dirt and smudge resistance. In fact, Optima’s new hydrophobic coating is one of the highest-rated. The wearer benefits from lenses that stay clean longer and are effortless to maintain.

Remarkable Abrasion Resistance Without “Cleaning Haze,” Cracking or Crazing

The RESOLUTION® COLOR FREE AR — The Invisible Lens™ hard coating utilizes a thermally cured dip coating process. This process enhances durability but, more importantly, it also guarantees no coating to substrate index mismatch. This results in an optically superior birefringence-free lens. In the past, AR lens wearers were plagued with coatings that peeled. With RESOLUTION® COLOR FREE AR — The Invisible Lens™, wearers will no longer need to be concerned with “cleaning haze,” cracking or crazing. The lens coating remains invisible to the wearer, just as it was when they first purchased their lenses. Eyecare professionals can be comfortable recommending RESOLUTION® COLOR FREE AR — The Invisible Lens™ for children and for those with active lifestyles with the assurance that the lenses can withstand normal lens use, with no coating issues.
